The Groove Brothers
GrooveCD
The Groove Brothers specialise in absailing events and Cheese festivals and appear here minus Dr Substance, a teacher by day and a practitioner of groove on the keyboards by night. Although the CD recording features his last performance with the Groove Brothers, his talent is immortalised in the title : "Dr Substance Gets His Jotters".
Click above and enjoy Heavy Groove, inspired by carrying large amounts of classic James Brown and Jimi Hendrix vinyl between flats.

Lewana
Lewana are a brazilian percussion group which I joined just over a year ago after recording their CD at Odd Shoe.
They manage to overlay an incredible variety of rhythms and texture between the three percussionists (using all available limbs on some amazing instruments) on traditional and experimental patterns. They have played on The Jools Holland show and have recorded and performed with the Pet Shop Boys. I mostly play bass, and as far as percussion goes, have only been permitted to play the Sordu part ("hit the big drum not very often")
